How do I sign up for CornerstoneConnect Online Banking?

To sign up for CornerstoneConnect Online Banking, simply visit Cornerstone's website at www.cornerstoneconnect.com and click on the First Time Login link. After reviewing the Internet Banking Disclosures, click the "I Agree" button. This will take you to the First Time Login screen. Fill in the required information and then click "Submit." The next screen will allow you to create your Access ID and Password. Then you will be prompted to complete the security question information. The next screens will ask if you would like to enroll in Mobile Banking or receive your statements electronically. After you finish with those screens your first time login process is complete.

Who will be able to see or access my accounts?

Only the owners or signers of an account, using their own unique Access ID and password can view or access the accounts. In addition, to insure our customers have the highest level of security available, we require the use of a "strong encryption" (128-bit) browser.

What if I forget my password or it doesn’t work?

If your password does not allow you access to your accounts, please contact the Electronic Banking Department at (402) 363-7411 or (800) 642-6608 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or e-mail us at: info@cornerstoneconnect.com.

Is there a fee for online banking?

No. There is no additional fee to access your accounts through CornerstoneConnect Online Banking. You can view transactions, make transfers, pay bills or make Cornerstone Bank loan payments free of charge.

Can I see an example of Online Banking before I sign up?

Yes, click on the Online Education Center link on the bottom right corner of the homepage, click accept and then “View” next to Cornerstone Connect Online Banking.

I share my computer with someone who also uses Online Banking. Can both of us sign in from this computer?

Yes. You can both use the same computer to sign in to your individual Online Banking account safely; you won’t see each other’s information. There’s no limit to how many people can sign in to Online Banking on the Cornerstone Bank website from the same computer. Just remember not to share your Access ID, Password or answers to your challenge questions.

How do I know I’m at the genuine Online Banking site?

Make sure you type the correct address cornerstoneconnect.com into your Web browser. When you arrive at the site and enter your Access ID, click on the “Submit” button. In most browsers the address bar will turn green and you’ll see the web address change to cornerstoneconnect.net. Once the web address ending changes to .net, you have confirmation that you been routed to a secure website.

Can I access Online Banking from multiple computers?

Yes, you can access Online Banking from any number of computers and have the same protections. If you sign in from a computer that you haven’t used for Online Banking before, you will need to answer one of your challenge questions to verify your identity. Once you answer the question correctly, we will ask you if you would like us to recognize that computer in the future. If you answer yes, you will not need to answer a challenge question in the future.

What if I get a new computer?

You will need to answer one of your challenge questions to verify your identity. Once you answer the question correctly, we will ask you if you want to recognize that computer in the future. If you answer yes, you will not need to answer a challenge question again.

Can I change my challenge questions?

Yes, you can change your challenge questions at any time. Once you are logged in to Online Banking click “Options” at the top of the page. Then click “Edit” in the Security Data section. Click “Submit” to save any changes.

Can I enroll for eStatements online?

Yes. If you are the primary person listed on the account, you can log in to your account online and select “Options” at the top of the page. Scroll down to the e-Statement Enrollment section and select “Enroll Now”.

How do I retrieve my monthly statement online?

Log in to your online banking account and click on your account number. The options at the top will change, click the word “Statements”. A Document Search page will load with a date range of two years. You can refine your search or click “Submit”. Each statement will list as a link allowing you to open them one at a time.

How can I transfer between my accounts?

There are two types of transfers available with Online Banking. An Express Transfer will happen immediately, as if you had gone to a teller. A Scheduled Transfer will not process until the end of day update.

Bill Pay FAQ

What is bill payment and is there a fee?

CornerstoneConnect Online Banking offers a bill payment feature in which you can pay all of your bills. This service is free for personal checking accounts with Cornerstone.

How do I use Online Bill Payment

If you utilize cornerstoneconnect.com for online access to your personal accounts you have the option to use Cornerstone Bank's free bill payment service. You can use bill payment to pay any bills that you choose to pay. Once logged in to Online Banking click on your checking account number. At the top you will see the word “Payments”. By selecting “Payments” you will be routed to the Payment Center, where you are able to:

  • Set up one time payments
  • Set up recurring payments, for example monthly, bi-monthly or weekly
  • Set up payments to be paid on a specific day or even in advance
  • Save money on postage and check expenses
  • Store biller history
  • Select the next day payment option (fees will apply)
  • The payment date that you select is the date the biller is expected to receive the payment.

Mobile Banking FAQ

What Mobile Banking services do you provide?

Cornerstone Bank offers a branded Mobile Application that is compatible with most smart phones, a Mobile Tablet Application that is available for iPad and some Android powered tablets, a Mobile Web Browser and Text Banking.

What services can I access with Mobile Banking?

With Mobile Banking you can:

  • View account balances
  • View transaction history
  • View pending transactions
  • Transfer funds
  • Make payments to your Cornerstone loans
  • View Cornerstone ATM and bank locations

Additionally, customers who utilize the Mobile Application can deposit checks from their device.

What does it cost to use Mobile Banking?

Mobile Banking is a complimentary service for all Cornerstone Bank customers enrolled in Online Banking. Message and data rates may apply. You will need to contact your mobile phone carrier for any charges that apply to web browser usage on your mobile phone.

How do I enroll in Mobile Banking?

Mobile Banking enrollment is completed by logging into Online Banking. Choose “Options” at the top of the page and then click “Enroll Now” in the Mobile Banking Profile section.

What do I use for my Mobile Banking Username?

The Username for Mobile Banking is the same as the Access ID used for Online Banking.

Is my Mobile Banking Username case sensitive?

Yes, your Username is case sensitive. The Username for Mobile Banking is the same as the Access ID used for Online Banking.

What happens if I lose my mobile device?

Since your account data is not stored on your mobile device, your information can not be stolen. When you replace your device, simply edit your mobile settings through CornerstoneConnect. Click “Options” at the top of the page. Scroll down and click “Manage Devices” in the Mobile Banking Profile section.  Make any changes to the Wireless Provider and/or Phone number.

What do I need to do if I get a new phone?

If you get a new phone log into CornerstoneConnect, click “Options” at the top of the page. Scroll down and click “Manage Devices” in the Mobile Banking Profile section. Select the option to “Stop using this device for Mobile Banking” then go through the steps to “Add New Device” using the button below.

What do I need to do if I get a new phone number?

If you get a new phone number, you will need to make that change in your Online Banking Options Menu. Log in to Online Banking, then click “Options” at the top of the page. Scroll down to the Mobile Banking area and click “Manage Devices”. Stop service for your old device. When you select “Add New Device” you will be able to enter your new phone number and register your new phone.

Can I use any mobile device to access my accounts?

Yes. You can access your accounts via any mobile device that is text and web-enabled. Cornerstone Bank offers Text Banking, a Mobile Web Browser and a Mobile Application. The specific Mobile Banking services available to you will depend on the type of phone you have. Most, but not all, smart phones are compatible with the Mobile Application.

Is Mobile Banking secure?

Yes. Your device is compared for consistency and you will enter your password. Additionally, your account numbers are masked.

Is Bill Pay available through Mobile Banking?

Yes Bill Pay is available through Mobile Banking for Online Banking customers currently enrolled in Bill Pay. You will be limited to billers that have already been set up through online banking, new billers cannot be set up.
