ALBION
Jeff Noble
Jeff is the Branch Manager and Agent in Albion. Jeff became associated with the Albion National Insurance Agency in January of 1980, which merged with Cornerstone Insurance Group in 2005. He has also served on the board of the Independent Insurance Agents of Nebraska. Jeff and his wife, Carol, have three daughters, three sons-in-law and two grandsons.
Jenny Doerner
Jenny is the Administrative Assistant and Customer Service Representative. Jenny began her insurance career with Cornerstone Insurance in 2011. Jenny plans to take the Property & Casualty insurance exam in the summer of 2011. Jenny resides in Cedar Rapids and is very involved in fundraising events for the community.
AURORA
Steve Gustafson
Steve is the Branch Manager and Agent in Aurora. He graduated from Trinity College in 1971 and farmed in the Phillips area until 2003 when he joined the Cornerstone family. He received his insurance and real estate licenses in 1991 and earned the Agribusiness & Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation in 2009. Steve and his wife, Marilyn, have three children and eight grandchildren.
Denise Moderow
Denise is the Customer Service Agent at the branch in Aurora. Denise started working at Cornerstone Insurance Aurora in March of 2008. She has earned her Property & Casualty and Crop Licenses. Denise and her husband, Aaron, have two children.
Ione Arnett
Ione is the Administrative Assistant and Customer Service Representative. Ione joined Cornerstone Insurance Group in January of 2011.
BARTLETT
Melinda Russman
Melinda is the Assistant Vice President of Facility Operations and Insurance in Bartlett. Melinda began her career with Cornerstone Bank in 2003 and then in 2005 received her insurance licenses. Melinda and her husband, Mike, reside on a ranch in northern Wheeler County and have two grown children.
CLAY CENTER
Dave Bondegard
Dave has been in the insurance business since 1972 and grew up in the area. Dave and his wife, Sharon, have four grown children and three grandchildren.
Dick Brehm
Dick is the Cornerstone Insurance Group Manager in Clay Center. Prior to merging with Cornerstone Insurance Group on February 1, 2008, Dick owned his own agency for 34 years. Dick and his wife, Sharon, have three grown children and five grandchildren.
Linda Hagemeier
Linda is a Customer Service Agent for Cornerstone Insurance Group in Clay Center. Linda obtained her Property & Casualty license in 2000. She and her husband, Tim, have four children.
Philip Janda
Philip is licensed in Property and Casualty and Crop Insurance. Phil lives in Clay Center with his wife, Michelle, and has 3 children.
Stephanie Leutbecher
Stephanie is an Administrative Assistant and Customer Service Agent. Stephanie joined Cornerstone in 2010 and obtained her Property & Casualty license in 2011.

Pat Engel
Pat is a Customer Service Agent. She has been in the insurance industry since 1997 and with Cornerstone Insurance since 2006. Pat is a native of Columbus. She and her husband, Scott, have two children, Jordan & Prestyn.
Nancy Hinz
Nancy is a Customer Service Agent and has been a licensed agent since 1986. Nancy and her husband, Layton, have four children and four grandchildren.
Dolan Larsen
Dolan is the Cornerstone Insurance Group Manager in Columbus. Dolan and his wife, Bonnie, have three grown children and reside in Columbus.
Brent Richter
Brent joined Cornerstone Insurance in late 2009 as a Customer Service Agent. He is licensed to sell Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance. Brent and his wife, Kendra, live in Columbus.
HARVARD
Rick Schwindt
Rick is the Cornerstone Insurance Group Manager in Harvard. He is a life-long resident of Harvard and a graduate of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
Ruby Adam
Ruby is an Administrative Assistant in the Harvard office. She and her husband Darrel live in Harvard and have five grown children.
POLK
Scott Scheierman
Scott is the Branch Manager and Agent in Polk. Scott started his career with Cornerstone Insurance in 2011 and is licensed in Property & Casualty, Crop Insurance, and has a Commodity Brokers license. He and his wife, Shannon, have five children and reside outside of Aurora. Originally from Sutton, Scott graduated from Hastings College and returned home to operate the family farm for 13 years. He has many interests, such as law, markets and coaching.
Sarah Carlstrom
Sarah began her career with Cornerstone Bank in 2010 and also works with Cornerstone Insurance Group as a Customer Service Representative. Sarah plans to obtain her Crop Insurance license and Property & Casualty license in the new future. Sarah and her husband, Terry, have two boys and reside near Polk.
ST. EDWARD
Denny Schack
Branch Manager and Agent in St. Edward. He started with Cornerstone in December 2007 and has been in the life insurance business since 1988. Denny and his wife, Cathy, have two children and one grandchild.
SHELTON
Joann Hulme
Joann is the agent at the Shelton branch. She has worked in banking for 13 years and Crop Insurance for five years. Joann is a native of Wood River. She and her husband, Tom, have 3 children and live on a farm outside of Cairo and raise cattle.
STROMSBURG
Marsha Newcomer
Marsha, CISR, is the Branch Manager and Agent at the Stromsburg branch. Marsha started her career in insurance in 1992 and joined Cornerstone Insurance in 2002. Marsha and her husband, Mark, have two children.
YORK
Todd Anderson
Todd is the Branch Manager for the Main Bank office and is also the Crop Insurance Manager for the agency. He began his insurance career in 1989 as an adjuster for crop insurance and later became an agent in 1997. He joined Cornerstone Insurance in November of 2000. He and his wife, Barbara, have four daughters and three grandchildren.
Brenda Bowman
Brenda is a Personal Lines Customer Service Agent (CSA). She began her insurance career in 2001 and has been with Cornerstone Insurance Group since 2009. Brenda earned the Agribusiness & Farm Insurance Specialist (AFIS) designation in 2011. Brenda was raised in Bradshaw and York County and currently resides on an acreage outside of York. Brenda has two grown children.
Traci Butzke
Traci, CISR, is an Account Executive and started with Cornerstone Insurance Group in 2003. She earned her Property and Casualty license in July 2004 and her Crop license in November 2006. Traci and her husband, Kevin, have one son.
Janice Hamilton
Janice is a Personal Lines Customer Service Agent (CSA). She began working for Albion National Bank in 1998 and moved into the Insurance Agency in 2001. In April of 2011, Janice moved to Cornerstone Insurance Group in York at their 1st Street location. Janice and her husband, Tim, have four children and five grandchildren.
Diana Heiden
Diana is a Customer Service Agent and obtained her Property and Casualty license in August 2007 and her Life and Health license in April 2008. Diana and her husband, Gordon, live on a farm south of Waco.
Ann Hurst
Ann is a Commercial Lines Customer Service Agent and obtained her CISR designation in July of 2007. When not at work, Ann spends the majority of her time with her daughter, Alia, attending her various school activities.
Kelly Kadavy
Kelly Kadavy is an Insurance Product Specialist. Kelly began his insurance career in 2002 after graduating from Doane College. He has earned the designation of CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative) and AU (Associate in Underwriting). He and his wife, Amy, have two children.
Lois Klone
Lois is the Administrative Assistant for the York First Street location. Lois and husband, Jerry, live in York.
Janelle Medinger
Janelle, CISR, is the Accounting Manager and a Customer Service Agent. Janelle and her husband, John, live in York.
Audrey Newton
Audrey is an Administrative Assistant at the Main Bank office and obtained her Property and Casualty Insurance license in June 2008. Audrey is married and has a daughter and two step-children.
Tony Purvis
Tony is an Insurance Management Trainee and began his career at Cornerstone Insurance in 2011. Tony holds a Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance license. Tony and his wife, Whitney, live in York.
Ben Royal
Ben is the General Manager of Cornerstone Insurance Group. Ben began his insurance career in 1995. While specializing in business insurance, he is also licensed to sell all lines of personal insurance products. A native of Palmyra, Ben is a graduate of Peru State College with a Bachelor of Science degree and has earned the designation of Certified Insurance counselor. He and his wife, Jamie, have three children.
Byron Schlueter
Byron is a Commercial Lines and Personal Lines Account Executive. A graduate of Kearney State College with a degree in Business Administration, Byron began his career in the insurance industry in 1987. He and his wife, Diana, have two children and nine grandchildren.
