Cornerstone Sports Complex

The Cornerstone Sports Complex is being designed to be one of the premier youth outdoor sports facilities in the Midwest. The complex contains up to 16 soccer fields of various sizes and plans call for the addition of baseball and softball fields, a miniature golf course and horseshoe facility in the future.

The complex is located on the northern edge of York, east of the York County Fairgrounds, between Delaware Street and Highway 81 on25th street. Parking is available for over 200 vehicles at the site and surrounding areas.

The Complex is home to the 725 soccer playing youth in the York area and has played host to the 87 team York Puma Invitational Soccer Tournament during the last two years.

The complex received a $100,000 donation from Cornerstone Bank in 1996 which was instrumental in getting the site off the ground, but an additional $380,000 is needed to complete the facilities.

The complex is managed by the York County Sports Authority, a non-profit 501C3 entity. All donations to the complex are tax deductible. Pledge donations, (over a two year period) and one time gifts are currently being sought by the foundation to complete the Complex. If you wish to donate or have any questions concerning the Complex, feel free to send them to YCSA, 426 Florida Court, York, NE 68467.
