Full Time Training Assistant

Job Duties: 

Handle daily operational duties of the Training Department including the following: Process education registrations, schedule and/or conduct in-house training sessions, prepare new employee manuals, prepare and maintain new employee orientation schedules. Maintain current New Employee Manual. Create and/or copy training materials. Reconcile training expense and budget reports. Prepare and maintain all training records.

Assist Training Director in identifying training needs, setting bank-wide training goals. Assist the Training Director in coordinating and conducting training sessions for the bank. Setup and conduct training sessions as needed. Assist the administrations of all in-house training programs. Coordinate the New Employee Orientation and Product Knowledge programs.

 

Qualifications:

Equivalent to a high school education (minimum). 1 year post-secondary education in accounting or business or 1-3 years banking or related experience preferred. Calculator, working knowledge of personal computers-extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and Word preferred. Accuracy with numbers.  Excellent telephone skills.  Ability to interact effectively with management and co-workers.  Working knowledge of accounting practices. Sound judgment, courtesy, tact and diplomacy. Comfort level with public speaking when presenting training material to a large or small group.   Ability to deliver unmatched service.
